True light

Another post about light, i love the way the light in a room can make things to look differnt and intriguing sometimes. This is JFK airport in NY. I spent 5 hours waiting for my plane to go back to London and i was so bored that i only took pictures of things exposed to different light, natural from the outside window and others just from the light in the waiting room like this one.

I LOVE NY!

Another picture of New York. Did I ever say how much I liked this city in my first visit???!. I live in a big city, which I love too,  London; very cosmopolitan and cool in so many ways, but I live here!With NY, I have a crash! It has something that it makes the city so special; I remember a friend of mine saying “when you are there, you don´t get the impact, it´s just
like in the movies!”...well, I did! I don't know, I felt like at home, and a bit like inside of a film with all those huge buildings surrounding me! but I felt cosy, and I loved the ladscape, what else?...I mean, I know, I am honest, I was on holidays, so I am adding the relax of being on “vacation” and not being stressed about work, getting the bus, or  going to the supermarket...but the thing is...I like to keep that memory about that visit...in a way I feel like cheating to London!

PRETTY ON THE INSIDE

With the Ghost World I am finally showing you this particular way that I have of seeing the world around me. One of my favourite things are colours , I can´t never resist to all those colourful things in windows, objects, drawings...richness, eclecticism, individuality makes the world and my walking around more enjoyable!
I have to say that I  put a lot of heart and dedication in all my pictures and I always think, wow this is going to look brilliant, I can´t wait to post it!....I am developing a great feeling along with the Ghost World and I am happy to share it!

Saturday, the T-party

Many of you know about my new project.  I am  finally discovering what  to do with my spare time and with my creativity!, sorry this might sound a bit pretentious... Well Ana, to the point then...so... I am designing and at the same time, making my own line of accessories.
Basically I  am getting a lot of inspiration from all the things  I like and I see around, from the fashion magazines,shops(any kind!) art galleries, my friends, films..

Well, I wanted to say thank you to all my friends for encourage me to carry on with my “bits and bobs” and for making me believe that “these bits” are “beautiful and cute”...so thanks guys!...and more now, you see...Ana...to the point...writing it´s never been my best...so this Saturday we will have a Tea Party at home, we are going to enjoy fantastic cakes and everyone will be able to purchase one of my “bits and bobs”...now this is a dream!!

I will post you some pictures over the weekend!...I hope it goes well!!

Freedom!

I have always like fashion  but I am not a fashionista and I don´t follow the trend s but I really like what the fashion offers you, the ideas the colours, the textures, the designs, the glamour, the make up everything related is for me just fun, I like  the whole eclecticism and the freedom that it can  gives you to mix whatever you like! Perhaps what I really dislike is the world around it, sometimes it´s like some kind of competition showing who is the coolest dressed and who´s got the better shoes or the best designers dress!

I really enjoy taking pictures of  fashion shops. Some of them like this one in Soho,  NY .It is not just  about the clothes it is the composition around, it works perfect and elegant, just beautiful!. Some shops have really inspiring windows, for outfits and for colour combinations.
