The after party

The party based on tea, cakes and jewellery ended with a lot of success of the jewellery and the cakes but instead of tea,  we decided to be a bit more sophisticated and drink, Martini. I guess if you are a guy, this would sound like the perfect nightmare. But the truth is that we all have a lot of fun and cool chats...girls just want to have fun!

The above bits and bobs are my designs, all sold out by the way, but contact me if you are interested to see more.

Saturday, the T-party

Many of you know about my new project.  I am  finally discovering what  to do with my spare time and with my creativity!, sorry this might sound a bit pretentious... Well Ana, to the point then...so... I am designing and at the same time, making my own line of accessories.
Basically I  am getting a lot of inspiration from all the things  I like and I see around, from the fashion magazines, shops(any kind!) art galleries, my friends, films..

Well, I wanted to say thank you to all my friends for encourage me to carry on with my “bits and bobs” and for making me believe that “these bits” are “beautiful and cute”...so thanks guys!...and more now, you see...Ana...to the point...writing it´s never been my best...so this Saturday we will have a Tea Party at home, we are going to enjoy fantastic cakes and everyone will be able to purchase one of my “bits and bobs”...now this is a dream!!

I will post you some pictures over the weekend!...I hope it goes well!!

Freedom!

I have always like fashion  but I am not a fashionista and I don´t follow the trend s but I really like what the fashion offers you, the ideas the colours, the textures, the designs, the glamour, the make up everything related is for me just fun, I like  the whole eclecticism and the freedom that it can  gives you to mix whatever you like! Perhaps what I really dislike is the world around it, sometimes it´s like some kind of competition showing who is the coolest dressed and who´s got the better shoes or the best designers dress!

I really enjoy taking pictures of  fashion shops. Some of them like this one in Soho,  NY .It is not just  about the clothes it is the composition around, it works perfect and elegant, just beautiful!. Some shops have really inspiring windows, for outfits and for colour combinations.

It was actually in Stockholm and i was there with a good friend of mine,we both love it!it was there in the middle of nowhere. We were just hanging around in one of the most trendy areas of the city , Sodermalm, where everyone looks like "hi, i am an artist and i am naturally cool, yes, i was born cool" but in the most relaxingl way,if you get what i mean?...Swedish people are just the royalty of the style, and they got it!and if i have another life i want to be sweedish.

Melancholy & Infinity sadness in Galicia

As Billy said it once:

"...i'll make the effort, love can last forever
graceful swans of never topple to the earth
tomorrow's just an excuse
and you can make it last, forever you
you can make it last, forever you "

All the right friends!

I took this photograph a couple of years ago when i visited Stockholm. I love that city, everything there is just so cool, the people, the coffe shops, the vintage shops, the art galleries...just cool, BUT...what it really makes this place cool, is that they are natural...just efforless!

Just like honey!

I have seen this lady recently trapped in a window in one of the most fetishistic sex shops in Soho... The West End never stops, always full of people, noisy, dirty, i really don´t know if i can actually say that it is full of "joy"...but what i can definitely say is that this lady really can show me what the West End is!...I am sure if you have walk around this area before on a Saturday night, you are with me.

She is a glamour girl

The weather has been terrible the last two days here in London, I have been very busy so it has been very difficult to see something interesting or inspiring to post.

For that reason i decided to check my archive. I found this photo that I took a few years ago in New York. I love everything about it but specially the composition in black and white and the beautiful feather skirt. I would love to wear it and dance!
I think a good song for that would be this one from Chicks on Speed!

She is in fashion

...She is strung out on a TV dream
And she's the taste of the gasoline
And she's as similar as you can get
To the shape of a cigarette...

The Hayward Gallery

The Hayward Gallery is one of the iconic buildings in Southbank, along with the Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth. It is my favourite. I love the way it looks from every perspective, like if it has three buildings in one. The mixed of materials and the shades are so beautiful, like cubes piled one of top of the other.

The arrogant cat from Lower Marsh

Lower Marsh is a lovely and querky road in London, full of great vintage shops, bars, markets and the Old Vic theatre, just in the corner.

In one of its great shops, appart from floral and flamboyant stuff yesterday it was this beautiful cat sitting by the window...

So stylish and elegant!...and he knows that!

Looking at someone´s desk

This is possibly the most interesting desk i have ever seen. It really got my attention while i was walking around in Canterbury. I am not sure if someone works there, or used to but it´s definetely full of charm.

All the mess in the room was placed with elegance, with no intention of creating chaos but perfect... I loved to take a look at it letting imagination run free...
